MD Afsar Hussain

Ask MD Afsar Hussain to run a workshop and the first thing he does is put the room on the wall — three hundred phones typing into a six-letter code, their answers blooming into a live word cloud while he keeps talking. Flocci Pulse is that instinct productized: nine engagement formats — polls, quizzes, word clouds, surveys, forms, petitions, live events, HR pulse waves and personality tests — on one engine an AI agent can drive end to end.

Why Flocci Pulse exists

When he taught AI Systems Mastery at NIT Jamshedpur, he opened with live Flocci Polls, pulling the whole room’s answers onto the screen as they clicked — no app to install, no account to make, just a PIN and a QR code. Pulse exists because the founder believes the fastest way to understand people is to ask them and watch the answers move. And the same enterprise-architect instinct that ran through his decade at SAP — one shared foundation instead of a dozen bolted-on tools — is why polls, quizzes, surveys, HR waves and personality tests all live on a single type-polymorphic engine here, sharing one responses table, not five separate subscriptions.

From SAP's enterprise core to 80+ products

A B.Tech from BIT Mesra and an M.Tech from BITS Pilani set the foundation for more than ten years as a senior engineer at SAP Labs India — SAP BusinessObjects Cloud, a petabyte-scale data infrastructure, and SAP Cloud ALM used by millions across 100+ countries. Then MD Afsar Hussain left to prove one architect could stand up an entire ecosystem on one shared codebase: ERP, POS, HRMS, D2C, work apps and AI — every vertical launching in weeks, not years.

Why an AI can run the whole thing

The founder builds AI-native, so he made Pulse a product an AI can operate — not a chatbot pinned to the corner of one. It ships a built-in MCP server alongside a standards-compliant OAuth 2.0 authorization server, so an assistant like Claude can log in, spin up a survey or a branching HR wave, launch it with a join code, and read the results back already sentiment-scored and clustered — the same clean API the humans use. A "Magic Wand" handles the human half: describe the moment in a sentence and it picks the right format and generates a schema-valid content item, retrying until the structure holds. And because the wallet is deliberately allowed to run into debt, the answers never stop mid-session — the creator settles up, the room is never turned away. It is his workshop reflex — ask, watch, learn — handed to an agent.
